Underworld Awakening

The newest addition to the Underworld series is to be released in 3D in theatres in the early part of 2012.

It promises to be just as dark and epic as its predecessors, yet the return of Beckinsale suggests that it might not have the fun undertone of Rise of the Lycans.

What it does have is a lot of promise, just as the first two movies did, the concept is interesting and fairly strong, yet Underworld and Underworld Evolutions both failed miserably at achieving their potential by falling into the traps of genre stereotypes and essentially believing themselves to be better than they in fact were. Awakening defiantly has the ability to stumble at the same points, but one can be hopeful nonetheless.

The 3D visuals will be fantastic, as the CGI in all the Underworld movies has been really high class and impressive, adding 3D will only add to the film’s advantage. It may be that this will be enough to turn everything around for the movie and make it more enjoyable than it really has any right to be, although personally the novelty of 3D has already begun to wear off so there’s a strong chance Underworld will be too late to truly cash in on it.

The absence of the prolific Bill Nighy doesn’t bode well either, his performances were easily the height of the previous three movies and with no one quite as impressive or distinguished in the new cast to replace him one can’t help but think the studio has missed a trick there. In conclusion, I think fans of the previous movies will enjoy Underworld Awakening On watch movies online website name Digitalfreedom.

Watch Underworld Awakening Movie online, perhaps not as much as the original which I am told is regarded as the best released thus far, but the film looks action packed enough that it’s bound to pull off another box office success. For the rest of us however I feel it would be just as well to avoid the film completely, then there’s no way you can be disappointed if and when it fails like those that came before it.
