Generally accepted as the weakest of the Terminator movies that recently acquired a fourth addition in Terminator Salvation in 2009, watch Terminator Three Rise of the Machines movie online is not such a bad movie after all.
Although it is not a patch on its predecessors T3 is still an adequate and entertaining science fiction/action hybrid. It continues to have the depth of its predecessors, largely thanks to the writing contributions of previous director James Cameron, touching on some intelligent and dark subjects.
Arnie is, as ever, exactly what you expect him to be, putting in a generic yet pleasing re-appearance as the dead eyed, emotionless cyborg, a role that suits him perfectly, whilst the introduction of Stohl as an older John Connor is also fairly acceptable.
What lets the movie down the most is its dialogue; it just seems very false and unbelievable, where forced attempts to explain the first two movies in a brief succinct manner fail miserably and simply remind us that we’re currently watching an inferior updated version of a modern classic.
Yet the movie seems to know precisely what it is and holds its hands up, even making jokes at its own expense: this is probably the saving factor for the movie, had it attempted to take itself too seriously it would have drawn further attention to its inadequacies, by turning to light, tension breaking humor the movie opens itself to ridicule in a warm, forgiving manner; eventually causing you to leave the theatre feeling fairly contented and your mind barely pushed beyond the most limited levels of functionality.
