War Horse
War Horse is a film directed by Steven Spielberg and it is suitable for release in the U.S on 28 December 2011 and in the United Kingdom on 13 January 2012.
The movie is dependent on War Horse, a children's novel set during World War I, by Michael Morpurgo, first published in the British Isles in 1982, additionally, the 2007 stage adaptation of the same name.

Both told him on the horrific conditions and dying, human and animal, through the Great War. Another man remembered the army arriving in the village to acquire horses for the war effort: horses were chosen for cavalry, and as draught animals, pulling guns, ambulances and various other vehicles.
Morpurgo researched the object further and found that 1 million horses died to the British side; he extrapolated a comprehensive figure of Ten million horse deaths on every side. Of this million horses possess sent abroad out of your UK, only 62,000 returned, the others dying in the war or slaughtered in France for meat. The Thing is an upcoming science-fiction horror film directed by Matthijs van Heijningen Jr., written by Eric Heisserer, and starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Joel Edgerton in the lead roles.

Well, I was very fascinated to watch the trailer of new upcoming movie The Thing.
It an upcoming science-fiction horror film directed by Matthijs van Heijningen Jr., written by Eric Heisserer, and starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Joel Edgerton in the lead roles. It is a prequel to the 1982 John Carpenter film of the same name; The Thing. Matthijs's film will take place right before the first film, following the exploits of the Norwegian and American scientists who originally discovered the alien.
While the film was originally set for release in April, Universal Pictures changed the date to October 14, 2011, to allow time for reshoots. The intention of the reshoots was to "enhance existing sequences or to make crystal clear a few story beats or to add punctuation marks to the film's feeling of dread."
Plot of the movie is at an Antarctica research site, the discovery of an alien craft leads to a confrontation between graduate student Kate Lloyd and scientist Dr. Sander Halvorson. While Dr. Halvorson keeps to his research, Kate partners with Sam Carter, a helicopter pilot, to pursue the alien life form.
The producers convinced Universal Studios to allow them to create a prequel to John Carpenter's The Thing instead of a remake, as they felt Carpenter's film was already perfect, so making a remake would be like "painting a mustache on the Mona Lisa". However, the prequel still has the title of the original film, because they couldn't think of a subtitle (for example, "The Thing: Begins") that sounded good.
The interior of the crashed alien spacecraft was created by production designer Sean Haworth. To design the ship, Haworth had to recreate what little was shown of the spacecraft in the Carpenter film, then "fill the gaps" for what was not originally shown.
The music composed for the film by Marco Beltrami will be released in October 11, 2011.
After creating the Dawn of the Dead remake, producers Marc Abraham and Eric Newman began to look through the Universal Studios library to find new properties to work on. Upon finding John Carpenter's 1982 film The Thing, the two convinced Universal to create a prequel instead of a remake, as they felt that remaking Carpenter's film would be like "painting a mustache on the Mona Lisa" Eric Newman explained; "I'd be the first to say no one should ever try to do Jaws again and I certainly wouldn't want to see anyone remake The Exorcist... And we really felt the same way about The Thing.
It is rumored that at the end of the film, MacReady and Childs will appear again while being rescued. The movie is very strong in violence and gore. People are killed in disturbing, gory ways. Intense scene of the movie is an alien being capable of mimicking anything it wants by 'assimilating' the host's structure. The Thing is rated R for strong creature violence and gore, disturbing images, and language.
