Greg Heffley wants to be famous. For him to achieve his goal, he got his best friend to help him score all the organizations and clubs that can make him the most popular kid in school that can earn him one of the best spots in the yearbook.
But things begin to switch when all of his plans result the opposite direction. Instead of him being the center of attention, his best friend seems to win all the interest of the students.
Now that he has no bragging rights, the jealousy towards his best friend might swallow him whole. This movie is based on the actual diary of a middle school kid.
