Troy

A great star cast come together to tell this language of ancient Greece epic, where Brad pitt plays the almost invincible Achilles, Diane Kruger as Helen the most amazing woman on earth, Orlando Bloom as her kidnapping lover and Eric Bana because the warrior Hector.

Of the aforementioned cast list Brad Pitt is readily the strongest, his performance is commanding and welcoming, whilst both Bloom and Kruger leave their roles distinctly lacking any depth, passion or intrigue. Bana’s performance is also fairly impressive, making Hector seem like a true force for being reckoned with.

It's going to take many good performances to hold your attention throughout a legendary story this way though, and Troy barely succeeds at even managing that; it can be way too long, at least seems like it, however the passage of time within the movie seems almost non-existent, causing want you to wonder what all the fuss is really about if your soldiers appear to be camped outside Troy a couple of months, rather than epic 10 years that's told of Homer’s original poem. This seemingly endless runtime and not enough narrative structure causes it to become very difficult to avoid your thoughts wandering or maybe eyelid’s getting heavy.

Not that you could sleep much through watch Troy movie online since the action sequences with the final third in the movie are fairly relentless and the movie’s advantage visually impressive, they can't however replace the lack of plot in the remainder of movie.

Also the film lacks any background, giving almost no hitting the ground with medieval gods that happen to be of vital importance in many with the medieval texts, whilst other areas of the main myth - such as fortune teller Cassandra - disappear altogether.

It makes this essentially a war movie, the characters not have the personality as well as the depth that can make truly great war movies interesting, that which you are still with therefore is a long and rather arduous re-hash of any classic tale broken only through the few moments if the script throws out something unexpectedly thoughtful and impressive; these moments are quite few however so don’t hold your breath.

There's a website name Digitalfreedom where moviegoers can watch movies online without spending lot of money on the multiplexes. On Digitalfreedom, moviegoers will see the movies in digital format like Blue Ray Print.
